My Destanee

This is my friend Destanee. I asked her if I could practice taking some pics of her and she jumped at the chance. She loves having her picture taken and she was a great model. I'm enjoying working with my editing program, don't know how good I am, but I'm getting there. Destanee loved them!! Thanks for letting me snap you!!

Thanks for popping by my blog. I looks like we have a very similar blog title. :)

I do hope you are enjoying your new camera. So much fun. :) What setting are you shooting in?

It looks like you are having fun using your editing software to blur out the backgrounds. Have you tried using your camera to do that? Play with the Aperature setting to do that. The smaller the number on the aperature the more blurring of the background.

My favorite of these is the second to the last. I like the off center composition. YOu are on your way. :) have fun...play, and you'll keep on learning.

G'day from Australia,

Saw your comment on Corey's blog - she's a good friend of mine.

The new camera sounds great and I'm also happy to volunteer any assistance/advice you or anyone else might need.

The more we use the internet to help and advise other people around the world absorb knowledge, the greater the information resource it becomes.

Happy to help any time ....

Thanks for stopping by. I moved my blog and forgot to put a forwarding address.

My mother, my traveling companion, was born and raised in Mt. Sterling KY. We had such a great time visiting her home town and exploring parts of Kentucky.

I have a Nikon D60 and just recently picked up a micro lens for it. Which explains all of the bug pictures I have. You definitely have a knack for taking pictures. The last two are my favorites.

Come by and visit anytime. We are going to be in Marana AZ for 6 months so my blog might get a little boring.

I might live in a 35 foot motor home but that didn't stop one of my kids from moving in with us! He requested a job transfer and then called us but we love having him live with us.

Just catchin' up! Great pictures. Looks like you're having a great time with your new "toy". Hope all is well with the "babies" and the little mama.

Blessings from the creek!
